FIR3530-20022: Live Fire Training Instructor

In-person class.  Meets June 15-19 from 8:30 am-5:30 pm.

Course Description:
This course is a comprehensive program designed to train and certify personnel to plan, conduct, and supervise safe, NFPA-compliant live fire training scenarios. It focuses on NFPA 1403 standards for live fire evolutions and NFPA 1041 instructor qualifications, emphasizing safety, fuel management, and instructor roles, including instructor-in-charge and safety officer.

Prerequisites: Certified Fire Instructor I, firefighter certification, and successful completion of training requirements (e.g., NFPA 1403 Chapter 4).
